Dear Moms,

I've heard that many of you have some doubts about the way we work in English class.

      1. Homework:

          All instructions are written in homework notebooks

          Homework must be answered in the notebook

          specified in the homework notebook (i.e. Spelling, Science, etc.)

     2. Exams:

         (These will be sent to you next week for your signature)

         The material that needed to be studied for each subject was specified in  

         homework notebooks.

         Spelling exam: dictation of words related to family and letters. Children 

         must know how to write these.

         Reading comprehension: spelling was not evaluated.

         Vocabulary: spelling and meaning of words are evaluated.

         Elocution exercise: (Poems)

         This exercise will be carried out at the beginning of November, reason for

         which I've been asking your kids to bring a 2 paragraph, easy to learn      
         poem to begin practicing in class and at home.
